Look
Marbled skin and carapace still. Eshonai is a woman in , a general, not a beast in a shell. The look that meant 'savage' to the Alethi is a person's face.
As observed
Eshonai is deliberate, tired of the war, and capable of respect for an enemy who fights with . The assassination of Gavilar still sits unexplained beside that.
